Privacy Policy

Who we are
Q16 PBC is a Delaware public benefit corporation. This policy explains what we collect across q16pbc.com and the Frontier Watch application at watch.q16pbc.com, and how we handle it. Our approach is to collect as little as we can while operating the service.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address (used to sign you in), and, if you choose to provide them, your role and organization.
- Membership & payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your membership status.
- Usage data: a small, fixed set of product events (for example, opening the dashboard or viewing analysis), associated with your internal account identifier. Our analytics (PostHog) are configured to be cookieless and privacy-respecting — no cookies, no cross-site tracking; while you are signed in, events are tied to an internal ID only, never your email.
- Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
Cookies
We use only an essential sign-in cookie needed to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and our analytics do not set cookies on your device.
How we use your information
- Provide, secure, and operate the service and authenticate you.
- Process and manage your membership and billing.
- Understand product usage in aggregate to improve the service.
- Send you service and account messages (such as your sign-in link).
- Comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising. We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run the product:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email.
- PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active and as needed for legal and operational reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and identifiable data at any time. We will delete it, except for information already incorporated into de-identified, published aggregates, which cannot be reversed.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can cancel your membership at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@q16pbc.com.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, and multi-factor authentication for staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Children's privacy
q16pbc.com and Frontier Watch are intended for adults. The Youth Signal Panel — a separate, forthcoming program involving high-school participants — is governed by its own consent and assent framework and is not part of this site's data collection.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below and, for material changes, provide notice.
