Acceptance of these terms

These Terms govern your use of q16pbc.com and the Frontier Watch service operated by Q16 PBC, a Delaware public benefit corporation. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Frontier Watch provides research-based monitoring and scoring of frontier-AI capability and of how AI providers handle user data, including the Singularity Index.

Not professional advice

The Singularity Index and all scores, ratings, and analyses on the service are research estimates provided for informational purposes only. The current Index value is a preliminary estimate pending a formal expert-panel assessment. Nothing on the service is financial, investment, legal, security, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Membership and billing

• A free tier is available. Pro membership is $7 per month or $70 per year, billed in advance.
• Paid memberships renew automatically each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.

Refunds

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. (Q16 may offer refunds at its discretion.)

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, resell, or redistribute member content or the scores and analyses.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overburden the service.
• Attempt to access other users' data or any non-public part of the service.
• Use the service unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The service and its content, scores, and analyses are owned by Q16 PBC. As a member you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use member content for your own internal purposes. You may not redistribute it.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scores or analyses are accurate, complete, or predictive of future events, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Q16 PBC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noticed, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
